Lifestyle Counselling

  • Lifestyle counseling is one of the most important modalities we can utilize as creating long term, sustainable change forms the pillars and foundations of health. During your visit, we will evaluate your current habits and patterns and discuss what you've done in the past. We will make sure that whatever treatment is recommended, it is sustainable and works for YOU. I recognize that change is difficult, so we collaborate to make sustainable goals that you feel good about. I provide reasoning and clarity behind everything we do so you can feel educated, empowered and confident in our plan to motivate you and keep you committed.

Clinical Nutrition

  • During your visit we will discuss your current nutrition and aspects of eating, including your views and relationship with food. I don't use restrictive eating behaviours, we use food and fuel to meet our goals and ensure you get to eating a well rounded, balanced diet suitable for your needs, goals and concerns.

Acupuncture & Cupping

  • Acupuncture is used in my practice as a great adjunct to your overall treatment plan. Acupuncture can be beneficial for patients undergoing musculoskeletal support, fertility support, stress management, circulation and blood flow support and more.

It involves the insertion of very small and thin needles into various locations along the body. The acupuncture points selected depend on your goals, patterns and concerns.

Cupping is the use of glass or silicone cups that produce suction when placed against the skin. This allows for more blood circulation and flow, allowing for tissue healing and reducing tension in various areas of the body.

Nutraceuticals and Supplements

  • Supplements are what they are - they are used to SUPPLEMENT the foundations of health. My approach is to always complete a comprehensive labwork assessment after our initial visit based on your concerns, goals and what is indicated in standards of practice, and then support your body accordingly. We will determine what evidence based supplementation is most indicated for you and discuss appropriate forms, dosages and go through the therapeutic benefits.

Laboratory Assessment

  • Botanical medicine is the medicinal practice of using medicinal plants and extracts to improve overall health and treat disease. Botanical medicine can be a safe and effective choice for addressing numerous health concerns. I typically recommend botanicals in the form of teas (loose leaf herbs), tinctures (alcohol extracts), or tablets/capsule in supplement form.

Botanical Medicine

  • Bloodwork gives us objective data in order to properly assess your concerns through standard of care testing. Naturopathic Doctors can requisition blood work similar to how your medical doctor can, but please note that unlike requisitions from your MD, our requests are not covered under OHIP. You may have extended health coverage if this applies to you.

I am currently accepting new patients virtually and in-person.
